Huami Amazfit T-Rex Smartwatch Goes for Pre-order in India; Launching on 12th June

Huami has announced that it’s new wearable, and the Amazfit T-Rex is now available for pre-order. The device will be available on Amazon and Amazfit’s Indian website for Rs 9,999. The wearable device listed on Amazon India for the past couple of days. It is finally available for pre-order starting today (June 7). It will officially be available from June 12.

Amazfit T-Rex has a rugged design and is ideal for outdoor activities. This smartwatch has passed 12 regulations of military standard (MIL-STD-810) quality test to resist the harsh environment. It can operate under unpredictable weather conditions, rain, hail, or shine. It can withstand extreme temperatures as well as damp, salt, and any challenging outdoor conditions. This smartwatch can survive for two hours under rapid temperature change from -40 to 70.

The rugged T-Rex smartwatch is 5ATM rated, which makes it water-resistant up to 50 meters. In addition to this, the Amazfit T-Rex has 14 sports modes and can monitor heart rate, exercise duration among other data. And besides this, you get the usual notification features for calls, reminders, Alarm, mobile payment, and more.

The Amazfit T-Rex’s pre-order and release date comes a few days after the launch of Amazfit Bip S. The smartwatch was launched at ₹4,999 and purchased via offline and online channels.

The watch meets the United States Military Standard certifications and can survive extreme temperatures as well as salt, alkali, and damp. It features a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with (360×360 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection and also it is capable of displaying 16.7 million colors with superb clarity.

There is a BioTracker PPG optical heart rate sensor with a 3-axis accelerator, geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor. The device is said to be backed by a 390mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 20-day battery life. Also claimed is that the smartwatch can run for up to 66 days when in basic mode and can charge fully in up to 2 hours.
