The tablet had earlier been unveiled to the world after the company listed it on its official portal. Later in April, the tablet was also launched in Indonesia. And now it is getting close to making its way across to India shores. The information about the release of the tablet in the country shared by Samsung. Via a teaser from its official Twitter handle. The teaser video shows a tablet and confirms the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is launching in India soon.
The company has taken to Twitter to tease the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. The teaser video shows a slight portion of the tablet, and confirms that the tablet is launching in India soon. An exact launch date not mentioned, but Samsung should make that announcement in the coming days. The video comes with the caption, “See what the future holds. A super carriable note-taking companion coming soon.” Samsung is touting the tablet to be lightweight, and the teaser confirms support for S Pen. Whether the S Pen comes bundled inside the retail box or not remains to be seemed.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is priced on the official Indian website starting at Rs. 59,900. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite should be priced lower than the vanilla model. The tablet price in India is likely to be Rs 28,999.

When it comes to the specifications the tablet will be running on Android 10.0 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top. The processor that will power the Samsung Tab S6 Lite is Samsung’s own Exynos chip. The tablet has an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor with 4GB of Ram and 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage with an SD card slot. It has a 10.4-inch LCD with a 1200 x 2000 pixels resolution giving it a pixel density of 224ppi which can be off-putting for many users. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will also have dual-band Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 5.0 and a type-c USB charging port. The battery is of 7040 mah with support for fast charging and an 8 Megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The tablet will come in 3 different color options Chiffon Pink, Angora Blue, Oxford Gray.
